This was one of my first hikes in the Cairngorms. As the walk to Mullach Clach a’Blair was pretty much long and boring, the visit to the top of Sgor Gaoith was worth the effort.

I tried to climb this Munro three times but failed twice before finally succeeding on 2nd September 2009.

That was my second hike in the Cairngorms. It would have been much easier had I not made a mistake…

It was my first hike in the Cairngorms and it rained for most of the route, making it long and dull.
