This Wednesday the day was long enough and the forecast encouraging, so I started at 7am from Linn of Dee car park (pay &amp; display &#8211; \u00a32 a car per day). The road to Derry Lodge is wide and even, but not particularly impressive &#8211; music from a player helped a lot.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The weather was very good for climbing &#8211; quite warm, relatively light wind, rare direct sunlight. But the air wasn&#8217;t clear &#8211; the clarity of the air was rather poor and that affected me in taking photos.
