The plan was very\u00a0ambitious and, as it turned out, too ambitious. Even plan B had to be changed. A pretty steep climbing of the northern slope of Beinn Iutharn Mhor and then a descend through rough terrain in burning heat drained my strength. When I saw in front of me the enormous bulk of An Socach (third\u00a0planned Munro) with a really steep wall I simply knew I wouldn&#8217;t manage. The only option was a return to the car park.
