To have spare time I decided to start one hour before the sunrise; I&#8217;d known part of the path\u00a0going\u00a0to White Bridge. Despite the wind and early hour it was surprisingly warm. For the first four hours I was just going to the base of the hills &#8211; it was really boring&#8230; Finally I reached the end of the path at the base of\u00a0Carn an Fhidhleir and started climbing across muddy and wet eastern slope, with the wind getting stronger and the clouds covering the top. It was\u00a0agonisingly slow ascent&#8230; Eventually I got the summit just to see nothing because of mist. Shortly\u00a0afterwards\u00a0I moved southward against the wind to a depression between two hills. In the meantime the clouds vanished and the sun was shining; but visibility was rather poor because of the haze. At 13:45 I reached the summit of\u00a0An Sgarsoch and after rather short break I went down across the northern long slope towards the path &#8211; the ground was even worse than the one I&#8217;d climbed earlier.
